Directions to Hostel

If you arrive by TRAIN to Bad Gastein, just leave the station and turn right! You will find the Euro Youth Hotel after 80 m on the left hand side.

If you arrive by CAR, look out for the signs to the ski-lift “Stubnerkogelbahn” or the hot spa “Felsentherme” once you get to Bad Gastein. You will drive under a footpath that connects the ski-lift with the “Felsentherme” and after 50 meters you will see the Euro Youth Hotel coming up on the left hand side.

The following airports are all destinations for low-cost airlines!!

Salzburg: In only 1 ½ hours by train you can get from Salzburg directly to Bad Gastein. Direct trains leave every 2 hours from Salzburg main train station!

Munich: There are direct trains from Munich to Bad Gastein which take about 2 ½ hours!

Vienna: From Vienna you will have to go to Salzburg first and from there catch a connecting train to Bad Gastein. About 3 half hours trip!

Innsbruck: There are direct trains from Innsbruck that take about 3 hours!

Klagenfurt: There are also direct trains from Klagenfurt running every 2 hours. It takes about 2 hours 40 minutes to get to Bad Gastein!

Bad Gastein is very accessible coming from north (Munich, Salzburg, Vienna) and south (Venice, Ljubljana, Zagreb)! It’s always worth to step by for a couple of days in the mountains!
